What we collect, and why

Lawful basis
We process this data under the UK GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, maintain a record of correspondence, and keep the website secure and available. Where you email us, you do so voluntarily, and you can ask us to delete the correspondence at any time.
Who processes it for us
We use two service providers who process data on our behalf under written terms:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and server logs.
- Zoho Corporation — email.
International transfers
These providers may process data on servers outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by the safeguards UK data-protection law requires — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent approved mechanism — so your data receives an essentially equivalent level of protection wherever it is processed.
How long we keep it
We keep email correspondence only as long as needed for the matter it concerns, and then for a reasonable period for our own records — normally no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are kept only for a short period for security and diagnostics, then deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course.
How we protect it
We use reputable service providers, access the data only on a need-to-know basis, and apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to guard against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. In the event of a personal-data breach that is likely to risk your rights, we will act in line with our obligations under UK data-protection law, including notifying the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) where required.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to data portability where it applies. To exercise any of these, email info@moozars.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published here, with the “last updated” date above.
